Can I
get assistance with Self-Employment?
Ontario Works can provide income support for a period of time for people who
are developing their own business or are pursuing self-employment. If
accepted into self-employment you will be referred to an agency which
specializes in helping people to develop a business plan and to establish
and maintain a business. Your business plan must
have a realistic expectation of success for continued qualification in the
self-employment program.
