Ontario Works offers a wide range of programs to help participants find their "shortest route to employment".  We are proud to lead employment assistance initiatives, and are committed to the enrichment of our communities.   Hear what some of our participants had to say about their experiences.

 

Employment Supports

There are many resources available to get participants started with their job search.

 

Education & Training

Education and training provides opportunities to upgrade current or obtain new knowledge and skills.

 

Community Placement

Volunteer participants work with community based organizations to gain the skills and experience required for paid employment.  

 

Public Services

We offer a range of community placements, including: public facilities; housing; transportation; recreation; and, gardening.

 

Employment Placement

Looking for employment opportunities?  Our staff help participants engage paid employment.

 

Learning Earning and Parenting

LEAP assists young parents aged 16 - 21 to complete High School and to develop sound parenting skills. 

 

Addiction Treatment

Addictions pose formidable barriers to employment.  We welcome anyone seeking guidance.

 

Literacy

Basic reading, writing and math skills help everyone become job ready. 

 

ODSP

Ontario Disability Support Program participants (ODSP) are invited to access our services.
