Prince Edward-Lennox & Addington Social Services is committed to investing in the future of our children.  We reach out through a comprehensive range of child care services throughout our two counties.

Our local Resource Centres offer services for children and their families.  Our child care department and Ontario Works office provide Fee subsidy and financial assistance programs. 

Child Care also is an essential support to help parents maximize their opportunities in employment, education, and training.  PELASS works closely with local service providers and community partners in matters of support, communication, strategic direction, and financial assistance. 

These services along with those offered by our community partners help us ensure that the needs of children and families in our community are met.

Child Care

Child Care assists parents in determining the best,  safest, and most nurturing environment for their children. 

Family Support

The Family Support Program focuses on the needs and well-being of children by ensuring that parents with legal responsibilities grant support.
LEAP

The Learning Earning And Parenting program assists young parents aged 16 to 21 to complete High School and to develop sound parenting skills.  Young parents can achieve economic independence and provide a better start in life for their children.
